This kit would be a good introduction to resin construction due to its simplicity. Being an early technology resin kit, small parts are moulded in a flat sheet requiring removal of flash (this is very easy to do). More recent CMR kits have the small parts easily removable from casting blocks. The builder must also accept using the resin tail-booms as patterns to scratch-build suitable wire ones to support the tail (the same would be true in a styrene kit with scale thickness booms).
