A29-325 MP-R still wears its delivery scheme of US applied Medium Green and Dark Earth upper surfaces with a pale sky blue on the lower surfaces. Spinner appears to be Olive Drab. 86 Squadron had a reputation for keeping its P-40s clean and well waxed for speed. Put a thin wash over the serial numbers as they were a VERY pale grey rather than white.
